Currently, 52 countries recognize the provisions of the ADR and use them as a standardized set of rules for the transport of dangerous goods. A specific UN number has been assigned to each type of dangerous goods, which allows precise classification. Not every truck driver is allowed to transport dangerous goods. Special training is mandatory for this. Vehicles that transport dangerous goods with a high rating must be equipped with an appropriate warning sign and carry the necessary protective equipment. The ADR registration documents for these vehicles must be renewed annually.

For dangerous goods that are rated with less than 1,000 points, STEX requires at least the UN number for planning and carrying out the transport. For a classification of more than 1,000 points, the safety data sheet is required. Dangerous goods include many everyday items, such as batteries, petrol, diesel, heating oil, lithium-ion batteries, disinfectants, pesticides and many other (chemical) products.

If your transport of dangerous goods is time-critical, we will coordinate the details with you personally after the order has been placed.
